- X-ray: in many cases, the doctors prescribe an X-ray test to check the severity of the situation.

- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease (COPD) : It is a chronic disorder caused by long term expose to toxic elements. Substances such as cigarette, CFCs, methane and other carcinogens are responsible for this disease.
- Chronic bronchitis: It is a form of COPD brings a long term wet cough.
- Cystic fibrosis: It is a disorder that causes severe damage to lungs. It affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat and digestive juices. Cystic fibrosis needs constant care and medication.
